Yoga for Pregnancy sessions are a wonderful preparation for the challenges of pregnancy, labour, birth, and becoming a mother focusing on breathing awareness, grounding, posture, relaxation and movements for
pregnancy and labour. It is a time to lengthen, open, release and relax. Each woman, her pregnancy and birth is unique and so we help you to find YOUR way with yoga.
We believe that our sessions are special because our knowledge of birth and experience in supporting women is incorporated into the sessions so that we can guide you at your own pace which helps you to tap into your own inner knowledge and intuition and enhances your connection with your baby.
The group will have a maximum of 6 women in it all being around the same stage of pregnancy so you can get to know everyone over the weeks and relate to those who are experiencing the same feelings, emotions and issues as you. The yoga classes will consist of a mixture of gentle yoga focused on preparing for birth and relaxation. All sessions finish with a chance for discussion of issues surrounding birth. The sessions will be relaxed and informal and will be led by Noeleen, an experienced acupuncturist, birth educator and Yoga for Pregnancy facilitator.
You will not need to bring anything for any of the sessions, we provide yoga mats, pillows, birth balls etc. You just need to wear comfortable clothes which you can move in.
The course runs in 5 week blocks. The cost for 5 weeks is €70 or 10 weeks €125. This includes all equipment required and support.
Sessions take place Monday evenings 6.15-7.45pm, new course starting 7th Nov 2016
Tuesday evenings from 7.30-9.00pm starting 1st Nov 2016
Wednesday evenings from 5.30-7.00pm starting 2nd Nov 2016

Noeleen has been supporting women during pregnancy for over 10 years and is continually adding to her knowledge. Her main degree is in acupuncture and it was while studying at Middlesex that Noeleen experienced the benefits of acupuncture in pregnancy being offered on the Maternity Ward at Whittington Hospital. She has studied Birth Education and Pregnancy Yoga with The Pregnancy and Parents Centre in Edinburgh along with completing her YTTC training in yoga. My main philosophy is to support women and couples through pregnancy by offering wonderful preparation for the challenges of pregnancy, labour, birth, and becoming a mother.
