November 30 day Gratitude Challenge
Tuesday, November 01, 2016
November is such a beautiful month. To me it is the month of thanksgiving, a time to reflect and give thanks as we near the end of the year, to slow down, nurture and nourish our bodies.
This morning driving in, the sun shines low with a beautiful stillness, peacefulness in the air.
There is so much talk on “Hygge” and this is something that has always resonated with me and through my practice of Chinese medicine and yoga. Hygge is the Danish concept of savouring the present moment. It is a feeling and sense of balance and contentment, about being not having. Hygge is particularly celebrated during the cold winter months when we can further encourage a state of warmth and connection.
A time of mindfulness, self-care and letting go. For the month of November, let’s all take a #30daygratitudechallenge. Each day giving thanks to someone in your life, past/present, a skill or lesson they have taught you, for something you have in your life.
What all are you grateful/thankful for?
